Dear Friends and Patients,
As this New Year begins I would like to wish everyone a rewarding 2006 filled with health, happiness and prosperity. I feel fortunate to be able to provide my patients with the latest treatments and technology that modern dentistry has to offer. My practice has always remained on the cutting edge utilizing the latest advancements available for patient care and comfort. With this in mind we would like to introduce a few of our latest additions that will continue to provide the most up to date treatment options available.
CEREC restoration services offer a superior method of creating precisely-designed, color matched, highly durable and biocompatible porcelain restorations right in our office. Utilizing a state-of-the-art 3D camera to create an optical impression, CEREC eliminates the need for waiting while a tray of impression goop hardens in your mouth. While you wait, precise custom design specifications are sent from our 3D computer aided design (CAD) software to our on-site milling machine creating your all-ceramic restoration. This conveniently eliminates the need for a temporary restoration and a follow up appointment with additional local anesthetic. I am consistently thrilled and amazed with the accuracy of fit, esthetics and durability that these restorations offer. They are the treatment of choice for replacement of most silver-mercury fillings. We can now virtually re-enamel your tooth restoring it back to its natural form, function, strength and beauty.
The Odyssey 2.4G Diode Laser is used for adjunctive restorative procedures and minor surgical procedures. Esthetic gingival re-contouring, biopsy and benign growth removal, treatment of various mouth ulcerations and adjunctive treatment of periodontal disease can be accomplished with minimal discomfort, greatly accelerated healing and often minimal or no anesthesia.

Cold Sores or Fever Blisters are a common oral lesion caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus. They are painful or annoying and often embarrassing. Cold sores are also highly contagious and can be easily spread through kissing, touching or secondary contact with objects that have come in contact with a cold sore lesion. Viroxyn is a new single application treatment which offers rapid pain relief, significantly faster healing and better germ killing ability than the currently available prescription pill or topical products. Viroxyn is not yet available in stores but can be purchased at our office. Viroxyn is the best product I've ever used in my practice and for my family to treat cold sores. If you, a friend or loved one suffers from cold sores, Viroxyn is a product you should have on hand.
We continuously update our website, www.SingerDentist.com, with new information, new photos on our before and after cosmetic and full mouth reconstruction galleries and links to more information on our services and technologies. Our multimedia patient education system, CAESY, will soon be available online through our website for animated video information about the procedures and techniques we provide.
On behalf of myself and our dental team I'd like to thank you for your continued trust and for choosing us for your dental care. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Sincerely,
Dr. Joel D. Singer
